About Us
Glenreagh Community Preschool is ...
A small community preschool that operates between 9:10 am and 3:00 pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday every week of the school term. We have a maximum of 20 children aged from 3 to 6 years at our centre each day. Glenreagh Preschool is regulated by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority.
Glenreagh Preschool is a Community Based, Non-Profit Preschool. We are funded by The Department of Education and Communities, parent fees and fundraising. The Preschool is managed by a parent committe, which is elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Our management committee is voluntary and vital to our preschool.
Our Preschool Philosophy can be found by accessing our Programs page through the link at the top of this page. We have many policies and procedures in place to ensure a high quality of care is provided. These are available in hard copy. We invite you to pop in and ask our friendly staff to direct you to them.
We encourage you to bring your child in for at least one orientation visit prior to their starting with us here, should you choose to enroll your child at our preschool. Parents must stay with their child during this visit. Lisa Davison can be contacted to arrange this. Contact details can be found on the Contact Us page linked at the top of this page.
Along with this webpage, we use technology to keep parents updated daily.
Preschool fee amounts are invoiced to each family at the beginning of the term. Any questions about fees can be answered by contacting the friendly staff here at Glenreagh Preschool. Fees can be paid online, by cash or cheque.
We have a Parent Library available to all parents and carers of the children at our centre. We ask that you see a staff member if you would like to borrow any of our resources.
